I have been fortunate & have...Thank you, Maya. I have been fortunate & have not experienced a lot of loss in my life. It was quite sudden compared to my grandmother, so I wasn't ready to let him go. Each day it gets a little better, but I really am thankful for so many memories to cherish. I'm glad I was able to go spend some time with him before he passed. I lost my gramps .....I am so sorry to hear that....<br />I lost my gramps .... as I used to call him....several years ago. <br />He was everything to me as well...<br />I can say for sure that time does help your heart....but I still don't think it every really heals. When you really love someone you never truly get over it! But I think that's a good thing.
